One of the most exciting indie movies of the past two years is finally released on DVD. From the twisted and brilliant mind of Sam Hodge. Sam is becoming the indie scene one to watch creator with a tone of projects already completed and some in the works. Sam has a delectable short film called GLAM hitting festivals now, he scored the 2017 movie ‘The Small Woman in Grey‘ and he is also credited as Executive Producer / and music creator for the anticipated horror/thriller ‘Seven Boxes‘. Sam is also gearing up for his next feature film called ‘Nocturnus‘

I got to see the movie at the theater and really enjoyed it. I’m no horror aficionado so I can’t speak to all the subtle nuances others might be able to. It had an old school feel (think the blood on the camera, lots of gore, etc). There were some incredible lighting and angles. The score was awesome, albeit a bit loud in places for my taste, but I think that speaks more to my age than anything else. Lol

On a related note, Twelvepole Manor is a real house, and I checked out their haunted house this past Halloween (2018) and hands down, it’s the best-haunted house I’ve been to, and I’ve been to them across the country.

Saw the premiere at Pulman Square in Huntington wv last year. Very well done! Old school horror at its best. This is a must see for fans of the genre.
