The Crooked Man coming out July of 2019!!

There’s a new spin off on its way from The Conjuring universe called The Crooked Man. It will be coming to us in theaters on July 3, 2019.

The Crooked Man and The Nun both made their debut appearances in The Conjuring 2. The Nun made $131 million on its opening weekend. Maybe The Crooked Man can match that? The origins of the Crooked Man date back to a nursery rhyme from 1842:

“There was a crooked man, and he walked a crooked mile. He found a crooked sixpence upon a crooked stile. He bought a crooked cat, which caught a crooked mouse. And they all lived together in a little crooked house.” But the writers of The Conjuring 2 added another verse to the nursery rhyme:
“The crooked man stepped forth and rang the crooked bell and thus his crooked soul spiraled into a crooked Hell, murdered his crooked family and laughed a crooked laugh.”
