Still pic of Michael Myers from new Halloween film!!

Halloween will ignore every Halloween film from 2 on up and ignore Michael and Laurie are related. It’s  supposed to take place 40 years on from the events of Halloween, with Michael breaking out of an asylum and launching a killing spree in Haddonfield. His target is Laurie, who has been preparing herself for decades for his inevitable reappearance. Laurie must also protect her daughter and granddaughter from Michael’s bloody night of vengeance.

The role of Michael in the new movie will be split between Nick Castle, who portrayed the character in the 1978 movie, and James Jude Courtney. John Carpenter never intended for Halloween to become a franchise, and he made sure to kill Michael for good at the end of Halloween II by burning him. Carpenter was impressed with director David Gordon Green and co-writer Danny McBride’s script to sign on.
