About Women in Horror Month (www.womeninhorrormonth.com)
Women in Horror Month (WiHM) is an international, grassroots initiative, which encourages supporters to learn about and showcase the underrepresented work of women in the horror industries. Whether they are on the screen, behind the scenes, or contributing in their other various artistic ways, it is clear that women love, appreciate, and contribute to the horror genre. WiHM celebrates these contributions to horror throughout the year via the official WiHM blog, Ax Wound, The Ax Wound Film Festival, and with the official WiHM event/project database in February with the ultimate goal of helping works by and featuring women reach a wider audience. This inclusive and positive movement is open to everyone, just as we believe the horror genre should be.

About Mass Grave Pictures (www.massgravepictures.com/)
Mass Grave Pictures is an award-winning independent horror production company run by husband and wife team Manny and Lindsay Serrano. Together they have produced two feature films, 80s slasher film “Blood Slaughter Massacre,” and the cosmic horror “Theta States,” and two web-series “The Attack of the Brain People,” an Atomic Age Sci-Fi creature feature and the creepypasta inspired series “Dark Tales from Channel X,” as well as over twenty short films. They also helm the podcast “Filmmaking Sucks (But We Love it Anyway)” where they share their own filmmaking experiences and offer tips and tricks to first-time filmmakers. Manny and Lindsay share a love of all things horror and are dedicated to bringing horror, in all of its forms, to the independent, underground scene.

About CongestedCat Productions (www.congestedcat.com/)
CongestedCat Productions is an award-winning narrative production company that is very active in the New York independent film scene. Our monthly screening series IndieWorks, now in its sixth year, has screened over 250 local filmmakers. Founder Christina Raia’s motivation was to create a sense of community amongst local filmmakers where they could make connections and find collaborators, which is why the screenings remain free to attend. In addition to IndieWorks, CongestedCat has produced an impressive body of work ranging in genre, style and form. All of their projects aim to offer opportunities for underrepresented talent in front and behind the camera. Inclusion and challenging industry exclusion has been a driving force in their collaborations; and they continue to create a space in which individuals can prosper, regardless of race, gender and orientation. Notable releases include feature film Summit and Kelsey (the web series).
