LGBT Horror short Jack and the Box to be shown in NYC in June!!
Dread Central will be doing a free NYC screening of the horror comedy Deep Murder on Wednesday, June 12, and they also added the world premiere of Brooklyn filmmaker Mike Dimitroulakos’ short Jack and the Box. The screenings will take place at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema (445 Albee Square West; 718-513-2547). Doors open at 7 pm.

Dimitroulakos says: “Jack and the Box was an exercise in no-budget filmmaking,” “The intent to showcase that captivating atmosphere, direction, acting and visual effects on a limited set of means is possible and doable. It was to also incorporate and normalize LGBTQ characters, actors and filmmakers seamlessly into the horror movie world.”
