Your support will help Voorhees Films bring you a chilling horror thriller with your favorite actors from the Friday the 13th franchise: C.J. Graham, Thom Matthews, Tracie Savage, Deborah Voorhees, Judie Aronson, Ron Sloan and many more. We also have Andrew Leighty and Vincente DiSanti from Never Hike Alone. Friday the 13th has a passionate fan base that has been waiting for almost a decade for another installment. With the lawsuit between Victor Miller and Sean Cunningham still not resolved a new film isn’t likely for several more years, but we have a solution for your much needed fix.
Our horror thriller brings your favorite Friday the 13th actors back to the big screen in an entirely new horror series about a fan, who takes his love for the series too far and targets the real-life women from the franchise to kill them like they were killed in the Friday films or “improve” their deaths.
13 Fanboy melds the slasher-style kills that Friday is famous for and the heart-pounding thrillers such as Hush and Cape Fear. We will be using all practical effects, NO CGI to honor the 80s slashers.
What We Need & What You Get
- Voorhees Films is looking to raise 50K in order to bring in the cast you love. Funds over that will help us bring in more cast members, build a topnotch crew with a cinematographer and practical special effects experts to help us create some amazing cringe-worthy kills we have planned.
- Perks include behind-the-scene updates from the cast and crew, your name in the credits, titles as Co-Producer, Associate Producer and Executive Producer, invitations to the film’s premiere and after party, 13 Fanboy masks, created by Marcio Charllie from Horror Costume Studios; autographs, posters, T-shirts, and much more. Besides getting your name in the credits, you can have your name in the film as characters, street names, names on mailboxes and locations named after you.
- During the campaign, your name will go into weekly drawings for Friday the 13th collectibles such as Jason action figures, hockey masks, artist drawings, Jason pendants, as well as passes to the film’s premiere and passes to the after party.
- If we don’t reach our goal this first go around, the funds will go toward locking down our actors as we raise money through investors and product placement ads.
