Check out Renae Goodhew and Echoes of Fear!!


Renae Goodhew is one of the most in-demand names in independent horror right now, but it’s not for bravura performances, direction or writing. Instead, Goodhew is one of the most in-demand VFX and make-up people in Hollywood.
This week, audiences will be able to see Goodhew’s stunning, spine-chilling work in the horror hit ECHOES OF FEAR as Brian and Lo Avenet-Bradley’s festival fave makes its way to the big screen.

Playing in LA theaters this month, the award-winning spookfest stars Trista Robinson, Hannah Race, Paul Chirico, Marshal Hilton – and some of Goodhew’s incredibly-crafted creature work!
Echoes of Fear received its World Premiere at the 18th annual Shriekfest Horror Festival, the longest running horror festival in Los Angeles, where it won Best Supernatural Horror Feature. 14 festivals have since followed and the film has won six Best Feature Awards.

Alysa inherits her grandfather’s house following his sudden death from an apparent heart attack. She cannot keep the house so travels there to prepare it for sale. While she is packing away her grandfather’s belongings some strange and unexplained events inside the house start to spook her and she soon comes to the conclusion that she is not alone there.
Even her pet mouse senses a presence. Something supernatural lurks in the house and she begins to believe that her grandfather was trying to find something before he died. When her friend Steph arrives they attempt to solve the mystery and what they uncover together forces them to confront the diabolical truth and the evil that hides inside.

Among Goodhew’s lone list of credits, Harrison Smith’s “Death House”, which featured a who’s who of horror including Bill Moseley, Tony Todd and Kane Hodder, “Minutes to Midnight” with William Baldwin and Bill Moseley, “7 Deadly Sins” with Eric Roberts, In recent weeks, Renae has been working on new Lance Henriksen-horror “One”. She also recently worked on Jimmy Eat World’s ‘555’ video.
