TriCoast Worldwide’s horror division, DarkCoast, announces Charlie Comparetto’s (The Brawler, Rich Boy, Rich Girl) debut feature, GHOST IN THE GRAVEYARD, will have its World Premiere at Dances With Films (DWF), screening at Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theatres + IMAX on Saturday, June 22nd at 11:45 PM.

Starring Stranger Things’ Jake Busey (The Predator, Starship Troopers, Showtime’s Ray Donovan) and Disney XD’s Lab Rats, Kelli Berglund (STARZ’s Now Apocalypse, TNT’s Animal Kingdom), Comparetto’s supernatural thriller is inspired by the haunting, nighttime children’s game of the same name, which combines frantic chasing with hide and seek to find the hidden player, “the ghost”.

“A small town is under the control of Martha, a vengeful ghost who returns to pursue the children who witnessed his death during a game in his youth. Long blamed for the accident, Sally Sullivan must find out why Martha has returned and how to make her rest in peace forever. Shiloh Verrico (Crown Vic, Stray Dolls) is vengeful and unforgiving as ‘Martha’, as Kelli Berglund plays ‘Sally Sullivan’ with ultimate terror and hints of innocence. “The Score, from the Utah Film Orchestra, puts you right in the middle of the feeling you get while telling ghost stories under the sheets or around the campfire – that feeling of heightened intensity and eerie calm. All these elements together become a perfect storm that creates this world that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up a little,” wrote Nightmarish Conjurings.
