Celebrity Picks: Zac Parton (Seven Boxes)!!
Today’s Celebrity Picks is a future Celebrity in the making. He is brand new to the entertainment world. Will be starring in his first film, a LGBT Horror film called Seven Boxes, where he plays the role of Steven. We are all looking forward to his performance here at Gruemonkey. Below are Zac Parton’s Favorite Horror Films:
.
.
.
A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET:
Out of all horrors this one comes straight to mind. I love the whole idea of a character being able to possess your dreams and to appear out of nowhere to kill his victim. Plus, who doesn’t like Kruegers’ one liners!
.
.
DADDY’S LITTLE GIRL:
If you have never watched this, please.. make it your plans for tonight. I love this film as it has some of the most gruesome torture scenes I have ever seen and a predictable yet interesting storyline. Also one of the only films where I’ve seen the character do his research.
.
.
THE WRONG TURN:
(Apart from the newest one as it’s complete wank). Firstly if you watch them in the correct order this is an impeccable low budget horror to creep you out on a late night movie binge. The correct order is 4-5-1-2-3-6 I believe but like I’ve said don’t waste your time watch six. I love how these films get you weirdly loving this evil cannibalistic incestuous hillbillies. The films are full of disgusting yet smart traps and jaw dropping ‘fight’ scenes.
.
.
SHUTTER:
This one kinda annoyed me because the first time I watched it I had to constantly read subtitles however, SHUTTER still shits me up just thinking about it. It’s a Korean ghosty horror film with one of the best storylines ever. I was fully engrossed into this the whole way and I just love the way how everything comes together at the end…
.
.
SEE NO EVIL:
This might get some heat but ‘See No Evil’ has to be one of the creepiest yet action packed film. Here’s just a teaser, there’s this 7ft bald head guy who goes about pulling eyes out. The storyline is perfect and I love how there are so many twists and turns in this film. The film is produced by WWE and Glenn Jacobs plays the main character. I love Kane and horror films so this is a win win in my eyes! Just to make it better they’ve also realeased a second one!
.
.
SHAUN OF THE DEAD:
I don’t know whether this counts but it’s got zombies so I think it does. Of course I’m talking about Shaun of the Dead. If you havent watched this then seriously…what have you been doing with your life? This movie is carried out beautifully but the brilliant actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Watching zombies getting beaten up and killed in such a comedic way is definitely how I like my zombie films.
.
.
HANNIBAL LECTER SERIES:
The Hannibal Lecter series is a thing of beauty. They may be longer than your average horror movie however watching them all definitely pays off. I love how Anthony Hopkins carries himself throughout the whole time off playing Hannibal. The story and deaths are both gorgeous in every way. My favorite thing about these movies is just simply Hopkins acting. I truly believed he was a cannibalistic doctor.
.
.
TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE:
To finish it off the absolute terrifying Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I love how they try to have a storyline in every single one and they really do push the storyline onto the viewers however I love this film for the pure and utter ‘cut him up and slice him up’ horror aspect. The visual of Leatherface is always incredible and the way that the deaths are different every time round is something that I appreciate. It’s not just the same kills, different chainsaw. I can’t yet make up my mind whether I enjoy every Leatherface series having a different back story yet or not.
