Celebrity Picks: Adam Grimm (Indie rock band Grimm)!!

GRIMM. is a unique Alt-Rock/Hip-Hop act founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by singer Adam Grimm. After years of writing, managing and playing for bands, Adam found his own voice that will be the inspiration behind a new perspective in mainstream music. Being diagnosed with Autism at the age of 6, Adam has always been treated differently. Dealing with a mandatory separation from class into a resource room where Adam spent his time writing music and helping his classmates that functioned at a lower level. He used his musical ability to become more social and gain the confidence to become the performer he knows he will be. GRIMM. wants to be an inspiration to kids with Autism who feel their disability is stopping them from achieving their goals in life. GRIMM’s EP titled “spectrum” not only comments on how Autism is a spectrum disorder, But that Adam sees his life, obstacles and music as a spectrum.

Spectrum has 4 amazing tracks: Atelephobia, Onward and Upwards, the hit single Summerset Station, and Loser. Grimm also has a single out called E.M.O.  I love E.M.O., I fucking hate you Adam keeps saying in the song. Love it. Grimm’s debut single was a big hit. On youtube it gained alot of followers, likes, and attention. Such an amazing song and amazing music video. Summerset Station. In 2016, GRIMM. started to collaborate with local producer Jeff Mckinnon and session drummer Evan Seeberger of Civil Youth. “Summerset Station” tells a modern day Romeo and Juliet story where a higher class lady falls in love with a lower class gentleman. This song talks about the issues facing relationships today and how social stigma can affect love between two people. You need to watch the music video. Plus Adam Grimm is a hot guy. He’s shirtless in his underwear in the music video. He has the voice, the talent, and eye candy (laughs). Adam told Gruemonkey what his favorite songs are.  For all you Grimm fans, Here are Adam Grimm’s favorite songs, also check out Grimm’s links before you look at his favorite songs below: Also for all you Philly residents, Grimm will be performing live June 2nd at The Troc in Philadelphia Pa.
