Jesse is the star of the new comedy horror zombie movie AHOCKALYPSE available on VOD, DVD and streaming now. Let’s see what he had to say when we sat down with him:

ANDREW E: Hello Jesse.

JESSE: Hi, thanks for chatting with me I appreciate it!

ANDREW E:  Can you tell us about AHOCKALYPSE ?

JESSE: Ahockalypse is a hilarious conglomeration of zombies, comedy, romance, action, and a lot of blood!

ANDREW E:  Can you tell us about what drew you to working on the film?

JESSE: What drew me to the film was being a part of a big time project. Being a model in Minneapolis I have done live commercial work but I had never been in a movie. This has always been a dream for me!!

.

ANDREW E: Can you tell us about your character?

JESSE: Jonesy is the leader and captain of the hockey team. He resembles the popular guy in high school within the fact that he is captain of a team, tall and good looking with curly hair. However life is a little frustrating for him because of his overbearing girlfriend who henpecks him, and the group of misfits he calls teammates that he tries to lead.

ANDREW E: What was your fondest memory of being on set?

JESSE: My fondest memory of being on set was probably when we filmed the ice rink scenes. I was with all the cast and crew who are great. Plus I was able to skate with a minor league hockey team! I even tried stopping some of their slap shots to mixed success!

ANDREW E: During the scenes where your characters are in their underwear (SPOILER) how was that to film? Was it awkward?

JESSE: Honestly it wasn’t that awkward. All the cast has a great relationship with each other so I believe everybody was fairly comfortable ha-ha. Honestly the most awkward scene for me was the kissing scene with Abby (Ms.J). We had met 5 minutes before we shot that scene!

ANDREW E: What was it like delving into a horror film? Would you do it again?

JESSE: Delving into a horror film was a blast! Especially seeing all the practical effects which were awesome! And I would love to do it again!

ANDREW E: Have you had any fan responses to you role?

JESSE: I’ve had a lot of fans come up to say that they loved the trailer and the movie. Everybody I talk to thinks it’s hilarious!

ANDREW E: What else do you have coming up?

JESSE: Currently I don’t have any plans! I’m just getting a job and saving up money for my masters! Though I am open to acting again especially if we decide to make Ahockalypse 2!
