Grue’s Pride Month: Men of Horror: Charles Chudabala (Ugly Sweater Party)!!
Hello Grue-Lings,
As you have noticed Gruemonkey covers a lot of Charles Chudabala horror films. We did a interview with him and featured him on Celebrity Picks. Charles is such a nice down to earth guy, he is openly gay and such an amazing person. What better way to celebrate Pride Month on Gruemonkey by having Charles Chudabala celebrating with us. He is such an amazing talented actor, he is the future of horror and entertainment. He already is got booked on numerous horror films and even interviewed A list actors on the Red Carpet. Some horror films that Charles has starred in are: Anomaly, Restoration, Survive, 2 Jennifer, Grindsploitation 2, Irrational Fear, From Jennifer, Death House, Ugly Sweater Party, Scratch, Welcome to Hell, For Jennifer, Lilith, 60 Seconds To Die 2, and Seven Boxes. He also has numerous horror films in post production and filming including: Desert Moon, Unholy Attraction, Paranoia Tapes 5, No Way To Die, Holidays of Horror, Cold Blooded, Black Widow, Agora, 16 Bits, Muerto Amor, and Ed and the Living Dead. He is very busy. Charles tells Gruemonkey what it means to him to be a Man of Horror for Pride Month:

I am honored to be featured as one of GrueMonkey’s “Men of Horror” And with this, being, PRIDE month
it’s even more special. I used to believe that I stumbled upon the horror genre, but now I think it FOUND me. Horror is my safe place. It has been the genre that has allowed ALL stories to be told. A place where the underdogs could empower themselves to be different, unique and colorful. The adult mind, tends to place restrictions on what is real versus what is fantasy. The child’s mind really doesn’t know the difference, nor does it matter to them. I am proud to be a man horror, because for me it represents a response to those who may challenge the world view: “every person’s story is important to and every person has potential for a courageous moment”I am even more proud to be gay man of horror! I have sought out acceptance, and community as far back as I could remember. I guess this is what drove me to try and manifest my inner fantasy world the best way I knew how- through acting and storytelling. Horror has allowed this little gay kid to pick up his crayons and “puffy paint” again, and make the art he wants to make, judgement free. A small part of me used to believe that coloring outside the lines, through my “horror vehicle”, was irresponsible and naive but now… I embrace it. To my LGBT community I say, “hold on to your crayons, and puffy paint” the world need’s your voice. Happy Pride Month everyone!!!!
