Grue’s Gay Pride Month: Tyler Posey and Avan Jogia to play gay lovers in series Now Apocalypse!!

Deadline is reporting that Tyler Posey will play one half of a gay teen romance in a new 1o part series called Now Apocalypse for Starz. Starring: Avan Jogia, Tyler Posey, Kelli Berglund, Beau Mirchoff, and Roxane Mesquida.

Posey will play Gabriel who meets Ulysses on a dating app but their lives are interrupted when Ulysses believes his nightmares are hinting at a dark conspiracy. Produced by: Gregg Araki and Steven Soderbergh. No release date as of yet. Tyler is no stranger to being gay or bi on screen, as he starred as a bisexual character on Jane the Virgin. Jogia starred in the LGBT film I Am Michael. He also co-founded the online PSA organization Straight But Not Narrow (SBNN) in 2011, with Heather Wilk and Andre Pochon, with the support of Josh Hutcherson. The non-profit organization is aimed towards changing the attitudes of Heterosexuals towards LGBT community.
